Wytheville Community College — Summa Cum Laude
Cisco routing & switching became the networking backbone behind provisioning shared-hosting infrastructure across 100+ site rollouts. Linux & Windows server administration, database fundamentals, and technical writing rounded out coursework that paid off directly in the work that followed.
2016 – present
Shared hosting & web services
Led technical rollouts across 100+ website builds, using Puppet to automate RHEL server provisioning and configuration. Built and maintained client sites using PHP, Next.js and Python, consulted one-on-one with business owners, and handled SEO and digital marketing work scoped to fit what a local business can budget for.
2012 – 2016
Wytheville Community College & a small business on the side
Prior to going to school I spent time freelancing, working on custom PHP apps, Python web scrapers and apps using Django, and more.
Alpha in 6 months, launched at a year, later acquired

Built the app powering an on-demand home services network for a Wytheville, VA service company: independent contractors picked up gig work sourced through Amazon's home services system, dispatched to a network of on-call field techs. Went alpha-to-beta in 6 months, launched within a year, and was eventually sold.
archive.org & PACER, when needed
Assisted a client with pulling open court records at scale using paid PACER and open case data sources: Using cost-optimized scrapers, a database schema built around the connections between people, cases, and filings rather than flat records, in Python on self-managed AWS infrastructure.
Bespoke WordPress — content-first, Gutenberg + Blocksy
A bespoke WordPress site for a non-profit, built content-first around Gutenberg and Blocksy. The real design constraint was time: someone who hasn't touched the site in a year should still be able to make a small edit in under 10 minutes.
